All-Party Parliamentary Group on Sepsis
To provide a medium through which parliamentarians, organisations and those affected by Sepsis can discuss the current provision for the condition, which claims 48,000 lives in the UK every year, promote public understanding and advocate for simple, timely interventions to be implemented as standard across the NHS; whilst considering Sepsis as a critical component of the response to infections management including infection prevention and a patient-centred approach to antimicrobial stewardship.
Subject Group; Health, Medicine & Public Health.
Secretariat: UK Sepsis Trust acts as the group's secretariat. https://sepsistrust.org/
