LLANISHEN AND LISVANE RESERVOIRS

Early day motion 86, tabled 23 November 2004 by Bill Wiggin (Conservative). Signed by 41 members.

That this House opposes the plans of Western Power Distribution to develop houses on the site of Llanishen and Lisvane Reservoirs, a site of special scientific interest; further notes the unique environmental and recreational value of the site to an area already plagued with severe over-development; and calls upon the developer to withdraw the proposals immediately to safeguard the future of the Nant Fawr corridor in Cardiff.
