This this House celebrates the 35th anniversary of the foundation of Disability Information Services Hub, known as DISH; recognises the outstanding work it does across Huntingdonshire, Fenland and South Cambridgeshire providing support and advice to disabled and older people and their carers to access the benefits and support to which they are entitled; wishes DISH the very best for the coming years in the important work it does; and calls on the Government and councils to recognise the importance of smaller charities in relieving the pressure on local services and ensure they receive the funding they need.
