That this House congratulates Radio Brockley, the hospital radio station serving patients and staff at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore, on its 60th anniversary; recognises that Radio Brockley is London’s longest-running hospital radio station; pays tribute to the generations of dedicated volunteers who have given their time and service, including volunteers who have served for more than 40 years; further recognises the important role hospital radio plays in providing comfort, companionship and entertainment to patients through music, discussion, news and requests, particularly at difficult times during a hospital stay; and wishes all current and former volunteers at Radio Brockley every success as they celebrate this remarkable milestone.
