Funding for child and adolescent mental health services

Early day motion 190, tabled 20 June 2022 by Barry Sheerman (Labour/Co-operative). Signed by 14 members.

That this House recognises the debilitating effects an inability to obtain a diagnosis for a learning disability can have on a child's education and adolescence; expresses concern that people are currently experiencing up to seven year waiting lists in order to receive an assessment; urges the Government to take immediate action to ensure that child and adolescent mental health services are properly funded and staffed to tackle these serious issues.
