That this House notes the dedicated service of East Renfrewshire Council and East Renfrewshire Health and Social Care Partnership staff teams who are working to support the needs of the local community during the covid-19 pandemic; further notes the significant efforts and creative thinking involved in delivering vital services at this difficult time; applauds the front line teams, working hard to keep services running and to deliver support where it is most needed; appreciates the creativity and hard work of groups such as technology department teachers who designed and created thousands of protective face shields for front line health and care staff; notes the gratitude and appreciation shown to key staff, including bin collection teams, by the local community in appreciation of their work; and thanks all those whose efforts have kept essential services, health and care provision operating in East Renfrewshire.
