Young Start funding for Glasgow Girls FC

That this House congratulates Glasgow Girls FC, which is based in the Budhill area of Glasgow East constituency, for recently securing funding totalling £69,680 from Young Start; understands that the group will use the funding to develop a peer-led mentoring project for young girls aged 8-24 from the east end of Glasgow and that this two year project will benefit around 440 girls and 45 volunteers; recognises the immense impact that the club has on the east end of Glasgow; commends all those involved on their outstanding work; and wishes the club all the best for the future.
