ANNIVERSARY OF M62 IRA BOMBING

Early day motion 2077, tabled 13 February 2019 by Jim Shannon (DUP). Signed by 9 members.

That this House notes the 45th anniversary of the M62 bombing which killed 12 people on a coach including a father and mother and their two sons aged five and two; expresses again the most sincere sympathies to the families of those who still grieve and those who were injured; reaffirms absolute condemnation of all people who believe that bombs and bullets are welcome in a democratic process; and calls for a fresh investigation into the atrocity to ensure that the perpetrators are found and face the weight of the judicial system.

Signatures by party: DUP 5, Conservative 3, Labour 1.
