NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER

Early day motion 1833, tabled 14 November 2018 by Gregory Campbell (DUP). Signed by 10 members.

That this House recognises the rising tide of knife crime in parts of the UK, increasing gun crime in parts of the US, along with massive political uncertainty in the Middle East, Europe and in the UK; acknowledges that 100 years ago as the First World War, the Great War, drew to its close a National Day of Prayer was convened to encourage Christians across the nation to pray for healing and an end to conflict; and expresses the hope that such a call can be made and answered in 2018.

Signatures by party: DUP 5, Conservative 2, Labour 2, Scottish National Party 1.
