HOSPITAL CAR PARKING CHARGES - LONG-TERM CANCER TREATMENT

Early day motion 1127, tabled 27 March 2018 by Robert Halfon (Conservative). Signed by 5 members.

That this House notes that patients admitted to hospital for cancer treatment require long-term hospital stays; further notes that such patients and their families are subject to heavy car parking charges in NHS hospitals; recognises that parking charges are an unfair financial burden for long-term patients; further recognises that this intensifies the stress that comes with a long-term condition; and urges the Government to abolish parking charges for cancer patients.
