ATTACK ON JOSEPH COLONY, LAHORE, PAKISTAN

Early day motion 937, tabled 8 February 2017 by Jim Shannon (DUP). Signed by 14 members.

That this House expresses concern that an anti-terrorist court in Pakistan has recently acquitted all 115 suspects who had been arrested for allegedly burning down and looting a Christian neighbourhood, Joseph Colony in 2013, due to an apparent lack of evidence; notes that several photographs and films exist of the arson attack; and observes with disquiet that the Pakistani Government prosecutor appears to have failed to use this evidence when preparing the prosecution case.
