That this House congratulates the Scottish Surfing Federation on its recent Awards for All grant of £5,000; notes that the grant will be used by the Caithness-based organisation for a bespoke judging trailer for its 2016 event; commends its exceptional hard work and efforts in hosting the Scottish National Surfing Championships in Thurso; and recognises the positive effects this event has for the local economy in both Thurso and the wider Caithness community while showcasing Caithness as the home of the world's finest surfing beaches.
