USE OF DOGS IN PRODUCT TESTS
Early day motion 1104, tabled 10 February 2016 by Kelvin Hopkins (Labour). Signed by 38 members.
That this House expresses concern about the use of dogs in the testing of products already tested on other species; notes the need to minimise burdens on industry as it seeks to develop new products; and supports the proposal by Cruelty Free International for the Government to urge a review of the EU requirement compelling companies to conduct such tests even if they do not believe them to be necessary.
