ANTI-DUMPING DUTIES ON IMPORTED CERAMIC PRODUCTS FROM CHINA

Early day motion 1234, tabled 21 March 2013 by Joan Walley (Labour). Signed by 18 members.

That this House is concerned about dumped imports of ceramic table and kitchenware from China; believes that this is anti-competitive and does not allow for UK companies to compete on a level playing field with their Chinese competitors; notes that the introduction of provisional duties in November 2012 has had a positive impact on UK ceramic companies; and calls on the UK Government to support the adoption of definitive anti-dumping measures when the European Commission votes on the final proposals on 4 April 2013.
