SUCCESSION TO THE CROWN BILL 2012

Early day motion 896, tabled 8 January 2013 by Paul Flynn (Labour). Signed by 9 members.

That this House believes that the Succession to the Crown Bill, to which amendments and new clauses have been tabled, cannot be adequately considered by both Houses in a single day; notes the expressed fear that the Bill may have unintended consequences leading to the disestablishment of the Church of England; and is convinced that a Bill of supreme importance to the future constitution of the UK merits thorough consideration.

Signatures by party: Labour 5, DUP 3, Conservative 1.
