RENAMING ST STEPHEN'S TOWER

Early day motion 154A1, tabled 13 June 2012 by Robert Halfon (Conservative). Signed by 1 member.

leave out from `House' to end and add `believes that the St Stephen's Tower should be a monument to the freedom of the British people; however further believes that it should be renamed Freedom Tower, rather than Democracy Tower, as democratic freedom is just one pillar of the UK's free society, which also depends on respect for property rights, religious tolerance, the rule of law, a free press and a vigorous political opposition.'.
