CHILDREN'S ACCESS TO DISABILITY LIVING ALLOWANCE

Early day motion 2525, tabled 8 December 2011 by David Morris (Conservative). Signed by 21 members.

That this House notes that the parents of ill children often need to live in hospital wards with their children; further notes that living expenses such as meals are not paid for by the NHS nor does this motion seek to amend that status; urges the Government to consider how useful disability living allowance payments are to these parents; and asks the Government to consider this when finalising details of personal independence payment.
