PROPOSED COMMONS TWITTER HASHTAG

Early day motion 2510, tabled 5 December 2011 by David Morris (Conservative). Signed by 3 members.

That this House notes that it is important to keep up with modern communication techniques; further notes that hon. Members are now allowed to tweet from the Chamber; believes that it would help the public engage with politicians if all such tweets were drawn together with a hashtag; further believes that it is vital to come up with a common hashtag that all hon. Members use; and calls on all hon. Members to start putting #commons into their tweets.
