REGISTRATION OF AUTISM

Early day motion 2077, tabled 13 July 2011 by David Morris (Conservative). Signed by 18 members.

That this House notes that there is no cure for autism; calls on the Government to introduce a scheme to enable parents to register their children as autistic to prevent them from having to fill in forms each year which confirm their children have this lifelong developmental disability; and believes that reregistering every year is a waste of time and resources for both the National Health Service and the families involved.
