That this House notes paragraphs 287 and 288 of the report of the Speaker's Conference on Parliamentary Representation about the challenges faced by hon. Member parent within restricted areas of the House of Commons; expresses concern that the combination of House sitting hours and the usual hours of childcare provision means babies have been left in whips' offices during late night votes; recognises that allowing children under the age of one to accompany their hon. Member parent into the voting lobby would solve a genuine problem; and invites the Speaker to issue guidelines to that effect.
