CHILD BENEFIT AND BENEFIT REFORM

Early day motion 783, tabled 11 October 2010 by Baroness Ritchie of Downpatrick (Social Democratic and Labour Party). Signed by 19 members.

That this House notes the benefits cuts being made under the guise of benefit reform; and further notes that the most recent announcement from the Chancellorof the Exchequer on the cut to child benefit will affect middle-earning, hard-working families and does not allow for the size of the family or one income families.
