PENSIONERS' PARLIAMENT
Early day motion 617, tabled 26 July 2010 by George Howarth (Labour). Signed by 26 members.
That this House notes with grave concern the failure of any Minister to attend the recent Pensioners' Parliament held at Blackpool, apparently because of a three-line whip; further notes the right hon. Member for Wallasey found time to attend on behalf of the official opposition; and applauds the work of the Pensioners' Parliament in campaigning on behalf ofelderly people in the UK.
Signatures by party: Labour 23, Liberal Democrat 2, Plaid Cymru 1.
