ANTHONY NOLAN TRUST

Early day motion 442, tabled 7 July 2010 by Baroness Berger (Labour). Signed by 63 members.

That this House supports the Anthony Nolan Trust in its work to provide life-saving transplants for people with leukaemia; is concerned that for every patient that receives a transplant, there is another for whom no match can be found; welcomes the news that saliva testing means that it is now even easier for people to join the bone marrow register to help save the lives of people with leukaemia; and applauds the Trust in its ambition to double the number of lives it can save and to increase the number of its donors to one million by 2014.

Signatures by party: Labour 46, Liberal Democrat 8, Conservative 6, Social Democratic and Labour Party 2, DUP 1.
