HEALTHCARE BUDGET

Early day motion 288, tabled 22 June 2010 by Baroness Ritchie of Downpatrick (Social Democratic and Labour Party). Signed by 14 members.

That this House calls for the retention of essential funding for healthcare throughout the UK so that new facilities can be provided and existing services maintained for the needs of the local population; and recognises that funding cuts to the health budget are having a detrimental effect on the most vulnerable people in society and will press for the safeguarding of the health budget to save it from further cuts.
