SOCIETY OF INDEPENDENT BREWERS CAMPAIGN

Early day motion 113, tabled 27 May 2010 by Greg Mulholland (Liberal Democrat). Signed by 31 members.

That this House congratulates the Society of Independent Brewers for its campaign to encourage newly-elected hon. Members to celebrate their success at the polls with a glass of beer brewed in their constituency rather than imported champagne; notes the positive contribution made by local brewers to their local economy and in particular the role they play in helping pubs to prosper; and hopes that all hon. Members will recognise this and use local beers, and local pubs, on appropriate occasions.

Signatures by party: Liberal Democrat 15, Labour 10, Conservative 6.
