PLANNING USE CLASS ORDERS

Early day motion 1113, tabled 16 March 2010 by Bob Spink (Independent). Signed by 1 member.

That this House notes with concern the adverse effect on the private rented housing sector of proposed planning use class orders after 6 April 2010; further notes that students, nurses, young professionals and low-paid workers will be disproportionately discriminated against, damaging local businesses and the environment; and calls on the Government and Her Majesty's Opposition to make it its policy to accept the Rugg Review recommendations; and further calls on the Government fully to consult the Residential Landlords' Association.
