EUROPEAN COMMISSION AND THE UK DEFICIT
Early day motion 1102, tabled 16 March 2010 by David Drew (Labour). Signed by 14 members.
That this House believes that the European Commission has no business in commenting on the UK's budget deficit position, and that its current intervention is totally unwarranted, but indicates the nature of the deflationary policies at the heart of the European superstate with the disastrous introduction of the euro; and welcomes the fact that the Government has had no truck with the European episode of failed economic and monetary union.
Signatures by party: Labour 10, DUP 4.
