BUSINESS RATES

Early day motion 156, tabled 23 November 2009 by Mark Field (Conservative). Signed by 4 members.

That this House is concerned that business rates for over 100,000 London properties will increase by at least five per cent. next year, while at least 20,000 London properties will see increases of over 30 per cent. over the next two years; and urges the Government to remove the threat of such substantial increases in business rates until the economic recovery is entrenched.

Signatures by party: Conservative 2, Labour 2.
