DISTANCE SELLING REGULATIONS

Early day motion 954, tabled 3 March 2009 by John Hemming (Liberal Democrat). Signed by 13 members.

That this House notes that there is some confusion as to whether or not the distance selling regulations apply to a transaction, where a contract to purchase goods has been agreed over the internet, but the goods are collected from a shop; and calls on the Government to clarify that they do apply in that situation.

Signatures by party: Labour 9, Liberal Democrat 2, Conservative 1, Social Democratic and Labour Party 1.
