NEW NUCLEAR POWER STATIONS

Early day motion 755, tabled 10 February 2009 by Paul Flynn (Labour). Signed by 28 members.

That this House notes that the construction of the new nuclear power station by a French-German consortium in Olkiluoto, Finland is now three and a half years late and more than £2.1 billion over budget; and calls for an immediate re-assessment of the costs and timing of plans for similar British new nuclear power stations.

Signatures by party: Labour 16, Liberal Democrat 9, Social Democratic and Labour Party 2, Independent 1.
