NURSE CAROLINE PETRIE

Early day motion 690, tabled 4 February 2009 by Jeffrey Donaldson (DUP). Signed by 22 members.

That this House notes with concern the decision of the North Somerset Primary Care Trust to suspend community nurse Caroline Petrie on the grounds that she had given a prayer card to one of her patients; believes this action amounts to religious persecution against Ms Petrie; and calls on the Government to preserve the principle of civil and religious liberty in the United Kingdom.
