POLICE PROCUREMENT OF VEHICLES

Early day motion 379, tabled 12 January 2009 by Lindsay Hoyle (Labour). Signed by 44 members.

That this House notes that each police authority procures its own vehicles; recognises that the vast majority of police vehicles are built abroad; believes that all public sector bodies should do everything they can to support British industry; and urges the Government to work with chief constables to ensure that police forces purchase UK-built cars.
