POSTAL COLLECTION IN SOUTH MANCHESTER
Early day motion 324, tabled 16 December 2008 by John Leech (Liberal Democrat). Signed by 11 members.
That this House notes with concern the chaos which has ensued at the Manchester South Delivery Office in Fallowfield since the decision to reduce weekday opening hours in January 2008; recognises the severe inconvenience and disruption caused to local residents through having to wait up to an hour to pick up their undelivered post; and calls on Royal Mail to ensure that the opening hours for the office are extended for the benefit of local residents and to meet customer needs.
Signatures by party: Liberal Democrat 8, Labour 3.
