HEATHROW EQUALITIES IMPACT ASSESSMENT

Early day motion 2352, tabled 27 October 2008 by John McDonnell (Labour). Signed by 16 members.

That this House expresses its concern that, in the Government's current equalities impact assessment consultation on adding capacity at Heathrow airport, not a single black and minority ethnic organisation in the London Borough of Hillingdon is listed as a consultee despite the devastating threat Heathrow expansion is to communities in Hillingdon; and considers that in the light of the failings within the consultation process, the consultation should be recommenced.
