PETROL PRICES (No. 2)

Early day motion 2320, tabled 22 October 2008 by Philip Davies (Conservative). Signed by 30 members.

That this House notes with concern the failure of some supermarkets and petrol companies to follow the lead of Asda and Morrisons and reduce their petrol prices to under £1.00 a litre; further notes that not all supermarkets and petrol companies have a national uniform low price in all towns and cities; and calls on those companies such as Tesco, Sainsbury's and BP to cut their prices immediately to help families cope with the rising cost of living.
