2007 SCOTTISH SOCIAL ATTITUDES SURVEY

Early day motion 1651, tabled 2 June 2008 by Angus Robertson (Scottish National Party). Signed by 8 members.

That this House welcomes the publication of the 2007 Scottish Social Attitudes Survey; notes that prior to the Scottish elections in May 2007 51 per cent. of people surveyed trusted the Scottish Executive to act in the interests of Scotland always or most of the time; congratulates the Scottish Government on achieving a rating of 71 per cent. on the same indicator four months after election; and further notes with concern that only 35 per cent. of those surveyed trust the UK Government to act in Scotland's interest always or most of the time.

Signatures by party: Scottish National Party 6, Plaid Cymru 2.
