ARMENIAN GENOCIDE OF 1915

Early day motion 1362, tabled 21 April 2008 by Bob Spink (Independent Conservative). Signed by 20 members.

That this House supports rational international deterrents to genocide; agrees with the argument powerfully made in the film, Screamers, that the failure of political leaders to acknowledge past genocides allows and enables further acts of genocide to be carried out with impunity; and therefore believes that Turkey should acknowledge the Armenian genocide of 1915.
