SALE OF JAGUAR TO TATA

Early day motion 1298, tabled 1 April 2008 by Keith Vaz (Labour). Signed by 14 members.

That this House warmly welcomes Ford's sale of the Jaguar brand to Tata; considers that this is an excellent example of business links between India and Great Britain; believes that this sale and the relationship between the two companies will further improve this relationship and encourage other business links; and encourages Tata to retain Jaguar's headquarters in Coventry to ensure cross-country links.
