FUNDING OF LINCOLNSHIRE POLICE AUTHORITY

Early day motion 1218, tabled 18 March 2008 by Viscount Hailsham (Conservative). Signed by 3 members.

That this House notes with great concern that the Lincolnshire Police Authority has increased its precept by 78.9 per cent.; notes that the Lincolnshire Police Force is the lowest funded in England and Wales; believes that under-funding by central government is the principal cause of the financial problems that the Lincolnshire Police Authority faces; and calls on the Government substantially to increase the grant to be paid to the Lincolnshire Police Force in 2008-09.

Signatures by party: Conservative 2, DUP 1.
