REDUCED HOURS AT SOUTH MANCHESTER ROYAL MAIL DELIVERY OFFICE

Early day motion 776, tabled 24 January 2008 by John Leech (Liberal Democrat). Signed by 1 member.

That this House notes with concern the decision by Royal Mail to reduce the opening hours of the South Manchester Delivery Office in Fallowfield which will result in the office closing at 2 p.m.; recognises that this is yet another reduction in postal services in Manchester and is against the wishes of both staff and local residents; and is dismayed that this decision has been made without consultation.
