COSTS OF PARLIAMENT
Early day motion 730, tabled 17 January 2008 by Peter Bottomley (Conservative). Signed by 1 member.
That this House believes the cost of Parliament should not increase; further believes that cost increases in the Lords should be balanced by cost reductions in the Commons and that the Boundary Commission should aim to reduce the number of constituencies and hon. Members by making the number of eligible voters on the Isle of Wight the target number elsewhere.
