ENTRY CLEARANCE OPERATION IN NAIROBI

Early day motion 678, tabled 10 January 2008 by Keith Vaz (Labour). Signed by 22 members.

That this House notes with concern the escalating situation in Kenya; further notes the large percentage of British citizens residing in the area; recognises the need for alternative means by which individuals can apply for visas as travelling to the High Commission in Nairobi has now become hazardous; and calls upon the Government to ensure that the entry clearance operation continues to work in an efficient, effective and fair way.
