RHYDIAN AND THE X FACTOR

Early day motion 620, tabled 18 December 2007 by Roger Williams (Liberal Democrat). Signed by 1 member.

That this House notes the popular support the X Factor contestant Rhydian Roberts has in Wales and across the UK; is concerned to hear reports that members of the public were unable to get through on the telephone voting system to vote for Rhydian; notes the growing Rhydian was Robbed campaign; wishes both Rhydian and Leon Jackson every success in their future careers; is aware that Ofcom have launched an investigation after receiving over 1,000 complaints from viewers; and calls on television companies producing talent shows to ensure that every vote counts.
