UN CONFERENCE ON CLIMATE CHANGE AT BALI

Early day motion 76, tabled 6 November 2007 by Lord Barker of Battle (Conservative). Signed by 40 members.

That this House urges the Government to go further and faster in seeking international agreements and strategies to stop the continued increase in world carbon dioxide emissions; believes that 550 parts per million carbon dioxide concentration in air would be an unacceptably dangerous level; and urges the Government to seek an agreement at the UN Conference on Climate Change in Bali in December on a clear road-map towards a post-Kyoto deal, which can then be secured at the Copenhagen Conference in 2009.
