BIRTHS ON THE ROAD
Early day motion 2052, tabled 8 October 2007 by Peter Bottomley (Conservative). Signed by 6 members.
That this House regrets that traffic around Brighton has led to unacceptable delays in the transport of mothers-to-be in labour around Brighton; and asks that the Strategic Health Authority guide the local primary care trust in maintaining the consultant-led maternity service at Worthing, aiming to reduce the number of babies born before arrival at hospital.
Signatures by party: Labour 3, Conservative 2, Social Democratic and Labour Party 1.
