LEEDS UNITED FOOTBALL CLUB
Early day motion 1507, tabled 17 May 2007 by Simon Hughes (Liberal Democrat). Signed by 20 members.
That this House is concerned about the actions of Leeds United Football Club and new chairman Ken Bates, that the club has received an unfair advantage by going into administration, that the 10 point deduction received as a result of going into administration when it was all but relegated renders their punishment meaningless, and that this does not encourage good governance of other football clubs throughout the football leagues.
Signatures by party: Labour 8, Liberal Democrat 7, Conservative 3, DUP 2.
