NATIONAL CYCLING CENTRE
Early day motion 819, tabled 5 February 2007 by Graham Stringer (Labour). Signed by 29 members.
That this House notes that the London Olympic Games of 2012 has serious budgetary problems; and believes that an initial contribution towards the savings required to balance the budget should be made by not building a new Velodrome and by holding the Olympic cycling competition in the National Cycling Centre in Manchester.
Signatures by party: Labour 20, Liberal Democrat 4, DUP 3, Conservative 1, Social Democratic and Labour Party 1.
