EMERGENCY AMBULANCE CONTROL CENTRE IN CARLISLE

That this House notes with concern plans of the North West Ambulance Service to merge the Emergency Ambulance Control Centre in Carlisle with those in Preston, Manchester and Liverpool; and urges the Service to reconsider this decision and to keep a control centre in Carlisle, which would best serve the interests of patients in the area.
