ISRAELI ATTACK ON IRAN

Early day motion 575, tabled 8 January 2007 by John McDonnell (Labour). Signed by 31 members.

That this House expresses serious anxiety at reports of preparations by the Israeli Air Force for the mounting of an aerial attack on Iran; and calls upon the British Government to do all it can to prevent this attack, which would exacerbate the problems of the Middle East and lead to further global instability.

Signatures by party: Labour 22, Liberal Democrat 4, Plaid Cymru 2, Independent 1, Respect 1, Social Democratic and Labour Party 1.
