CONNECTING COMMUNITIES TO THE GAS MAINS NETWORK

Early day motion 345, tabled 29 November 2006 by Albert Owen (Labour). Signed by 45 members.

That this House calls for a fresh initiative between the Department of Trade and Industry, Transco and devolved administrations to extend the gas mains network to communities without mains gas, many of which are within a short distance of the network; and notes that this would extend choice to households and reduce fuel poverty.
